Job Summary
Woodyard Operator I at a wood-pellet facility. Responsible for operating and maintaining equipment such as log crane, loaders, knuckleboom, skid steer and man lift; cross-train on heavy equipment; diagnose problems and perform routine/PM maintenance; perform administrative tasks and use checklists to maintain inventory and production reports; maintain housekeeping and safety in designated areas. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of operating industrial equipment experience. Works in a team or independent setting with basic computer/communication tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years operating industrial equipment experience
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment including log crane, loaders, knuckleboom, skid steer and man lift
- Ability to cross-train on all applicable heavy equipment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and perform routine or PM maintenance
- Strong administrative skills for inventory and production reports
- Team or lone working capability
- Computer literate
