Job Summary
Perform installation, repairs, preventive, and predictive maintenance on all equipment and systems, troubleshooting malfunctions using knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles. Execute advanced preventive maintenance procedures while reading complex data, mechanical drawings, and schematics. Utilize power tools, measuring devices, and hand tools to restore operation, working independently with little supervision or at heights exceeding 30 feet. Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and collaborate to solve complex manufacturing problems. Requires overtime and rotating shifts. Required Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced experience with heavy manufacturing processes and the associated maintenance and repair procedures
- Intermediate to advanced experience with hydraulic and pneumatic processes and principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of associates
- Excellent attendance record
- Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving
- The ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and other hand tools
- The ability to read and comprehend complex data including mechanical drawings and schematics
- Experience in performing advanced preventive maintenance procedures
- The ability to work with others in identifying and solving complex manufacturing problems
- The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- The ability to work at heights exceeding 30 feet with the aid of man lifts and/or ladders/platforms
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- The ability to work rotating shifts if needed
