Job Summary
Operate basic dental furniture machining tasks, including setting up power equipment, routing, secondary cutting, and sanding. Adapt fixtures and CNC programs using takt time sheets, method sheets, and production orders while interpreting Catia/Cut rite cut-list processes. Perform first article inspection and troubleshoot parts failing quality standards, referring complex issues to a unit specialist or supervisor. Maintain safety guidelines and an acceptable dependability level while following written and verbal instructions. Requires ability to lift up to 35 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally, with manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous computer experience
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds with or without assistance on a routine basis and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Manual hand dexterity to grasp, operate tools and equipment repetitively
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift
- Ability to wear respiratory protection and comply with OSHA's respirator use requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate work information in English
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems when necessary
- Background check and screen for the illegal use of drugs
- Authorized to work in the United States for US-based positions
