Job Summary
Entry-level Woodwork and Casework Estimator responsible for reading blueprints, specifications, addenda, and other construction documents to perform accurate takeoffs, procure pricing, review manufacturer quotes for accuracy and competitiveness, communicate with teammates, manufacturers, architects, and clients, and prepare client-facing proposals. The role emphasizes deadline focus and time management, with in-house training provided to develop effectiveness. Duties include assisting the sales/estimating team in converting estimates to orders after project awards. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, in an office environment with predominantly electronic takeoffs using multiple monitors and pricing via email, plus occasional overtime.
