Job Summary
Woodson Operator on the 2nd shift at Turkey Hill engages in operating the Woodson machine, staging orders, receiving production, and operating a forklift. Responsible for reporting input and output inventory to the production supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy, performing housekeeping and sanitation, and assessing product quality throughout the manufacturing process. Assists with Material Handling related to staging and receiving finished products and shipping; performs preventative maintenance on Woodson and related transfer equipment; maintains integrity of the quality system; participates in team and business-improvement meetings to drive results. Hours are 6:00pm–4:30am; role requires GMP compliance, safety adherence, and ability to work in a high-noise manufacturing environment with PPE. This role is Safety Critical and may include tasks beyond baseline duties and engagement in day-to-day operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must work in a team environment
- Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules
- Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines
- Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
- The role is Safety Critical with zero tolerance on positive drug screen
