Job Summary
Woodshop Teacher for Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Community Schools (ISD #435) for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsible for delivering hands-on woodworking, construction, and career and technical education instruction to grades 7-12, including tool/equipment operation, safety, blueprint reading, project construction, and career readiness. Plans engaging shop activities, aligns with curriculum standards, evaluates student progress through projects and tests, maintains a safe learning environment, collaborates with staff/community partners, and provides leadership to paraprofessionals when applicable. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Minnesota teaching license; internship/practice teaching experience completed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education
- Licensed in Minnesota in the appropriate instructional area
- Minimum completion of an assigned internship/practice teaching experience and degree program
