Job Summary
Woodlawn Preschool Principal leads instructional and administrative efforts for the 2026-2027 school year at Des Moines Public Schools. The role oversees curriculum implementation, instruction, assessment data usage to inform school improvement, staff coaching and professional development, budgeting and resource management, safety and student well-being, family and community engagement, and adherence to district policies and state standards. Requires a Master’s degree in School Administration, administrator licensure with evaluator approval, and at least three years of district or building-level leadership experience. The position includes relocation assistance and a compensation package complemented by a TSA, with a competitive salary range.
Required Qualifications

- Work Experience: Three years as a district or building administrator or an associate principal
- Licensure or Certification: Administrator license with evaluator approval
