Job Summary
Assemble wooden components, furniture, cabinets, or fixtures according to specifications using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Read diagrams and work orders, then measure, cut, sand, and fit wood parts to ensure proper assembly. Install hardware such as hinges, brackets, and fasteners while inspecting materials and finished products for quality standards. Repair or replace damaged components as needed and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment while working with team members to meet daily production goals. Located in Oakland, this on-site role offers $25.00–$28.00/hour with health, dental, and vision insurance plus paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of woodworking and assembly techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
