Job Summary
Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers and athletic training equipment, assembling components into finished products within PHS quality standards and time limits. Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures, maintain a clean work area, and document actions via production and quality forms. Restock depleted parts using the Kanban system while building defect-free products that adhere to safety standards and specific physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
- Applicants must have a high level of mechanical aptitude
- Applicants must have good communication skills
- Applicants must have basic computer knowledge
- Applicants must be detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment
- Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Previous woodshop/wood fabrication experience strongly preferred
- CNC machine experience
