Job Summary
Drive sales budgets and deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to the P's of retail, strategically merchandising, and ensuring store presentation standards. Engage customers, guarantee safety and security, and assist the Chief Executive Merchant in creating a friendly, knowledgeable environment. Conduct weekly competitive shops, analyze business reports including P&L and category performance, and utilize POS systems for accurate inventory and profit management. Supervise store associates by reviewing performance, training staff, managing scheduling during peak traffic, and addressing disciplinary issues. Available to open and close the store while maintaining brand and operating standards.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years retail management experience
- Proven ability to direct operations
- Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
- Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated ability to increase the company's overall market share
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert 20-30 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance

- Availability Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Availability Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
