Job Summary
Wood Department Manager at Floor & Decor responsible for meeting sales budgets and delivering an exceptional customer experience by leading staff, merchandising, and operations. Drive customer service excellence, oversee staff training and development, manage scheduling and payroll processes, analyze business reports (P&L, CPR, BAT, STPOA, STPRC), ensure inventory accuracy and loss-prevention compliance, and collaborate with leadership to maintain brand and operating standards. Requires strong retail management experience, people leadership, recruitment and training abilities, merchandising acumen, and analytical skills to optimize store performance. Must be available for full-time operations with weekend hours and participate in store leadership as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years retail management experience
- ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
- demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates
- excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment
