Job Summary
The Preschool Substitute Teacher assists the Lead Instructor in implementing curriculum and maintaining a positive learning environment for children aged 3-5. Responsibilities include creating and following weekly lesson plans, assessing children's development, and providing mentorship to ECDE student teachers. The role also involves fostering a respectful and collaborative classroom atmosphere, ensuring safety, and adhering to licensing regulations. Regular attendance is required, and the ideal candidate should have an associate degree and two years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Development and Education or related field
- Two (2) years of experience working with adult students and children ages 3-5
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrate ability to gain access to work site(s)
