Job Summary
Nurse in Womens Services working nights on a full-time basis. Provide evidence-based nursing care to support maternal/ obstetric patient needs, perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate patient responses. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, assist with orientation of new staff, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Requires ADN or nursing diploma graduate with active RN licensure in Arizona (or compact state), BLS, and obstetric-specific certifications (NRP, ACLS, PALS) within defined timeframes. Strong emphasis on patient safety, teamwork, and the nursing process across multiple specialty areas within the unit; EKG competency within specified timelines; and ability to manage multiple priorities in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
- Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
