Job Summary
Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor while executing receiving and merchandising standards. Ensure associates efficiently process goods, properly tag, hang, and secure items according to store plans. Maintain a clean, organized backroom and back stock rotation to support easy replenishment. Engage with all customers to ensure an excellent experience and model exceptional service. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary. Communicate priorities with management and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient goods flow. Adhere to all labor laws, safety protocols, and recycling programs while supporting shrink reduction goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
