Job Summary
Provide high-standard physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients within the outpatient department and/or ward. Discuss, agree, and explain responsibilities for patient assessments, including needs and associated risks. Using clinical reasoning, develop appropriate treatment plans that consider patient care, risks, and wellbeing. Discuss, agree, and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks. Requirements include HCPC registration without restrictions, postgraduate experience in Pelvic Health, and a minimum of one year UK Pelvic Health experience. Previous hospital experience is desirable, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must possess mandatory training in infection control and health and safety, and be willing to work flexible patterns including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registered
- Post graduate experience in relevant specialism e.g. Pelvic Health physiotherapy
- Minimum of 1 year Pelvic Health Physiotherapy experience in the UK
- Previous hospital experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised
- Excellent patient care
- Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
- Additional competences relevant to job role
- Mandatory Training including Infection Control competences
- Health and safety training
- Willing to work flexible patterns e.g. evenings/weekend/on call as required
- Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
