Job Summary
Plan, organize, and conduct all team practices, training sessions, and competition schedules for the Lake Norman High School Women's Flag Football program. Develop game strategies, provide individual and group instruction, and foster a positive, inclusive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship and discipline. Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and classroom engagement to ensure eligibility while offering mentorship on personal conduct and well-being. Coordinate with Athletic Training staff for injury prevention and care, ensuring full compliance with institutional, conference, and NCHSAA rules. Prioritize student-athlete retention and academic success within the program.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience in flag football, tackle football, or a related sport, preferably at the high school level (Assistant or Head Coach)
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
- Knowledge of NCHSAA rules and regulations
- Experience working with a diverse student body
