Job Summary
Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record health history while prescribing medications, therapies, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling within a 100% women's health scope of practice. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with no evening or weekend call responsibilities. Requires an independent Nevada license, 2000 hours of provider experience, and OB/GYN expertise to join an established outpatient practice.
Required Qualifications
- National Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Unrestricted, active and independent practice licensure in Nevada or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
- At least 2000 hours of experience as a provider
- Independent practice NV license (2000 hours or more of provider experience) or ability to obtain one if relocating to the Las Vegas area
- 100% Women's Health Scope of Practice
- No call, evening or weekend responsibilities
