Job Summary
Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record health history while prescribing medications, therapies, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling. Work closely with physicians to deliver care and make independent clinical decisions based on best medical practices. Requires unrestricted, active licensure, DEA license, and CPR/BLS/NALS certification. One year of full-time Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
Desired Qualifications
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
