Job Summary
As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Golden Valley Health Centers, you will perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions, and provide preventative and reproductive health services. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating pharmacologic therapies, and providing counseling for patients. Successful candidates will have graduated from an accredited nursing program, hold relevant certifications, and be able to work collaboratively under physician supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak Spanish highly desirable
