Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Manage routine and complex outpatient women's health conditions across diverse patient populations, performing comprehensive wellness exams, preventive screenings, STI screenings, and tailored contraceptive counseling. Drive clinical excellence by overseeing approximately 20 patients daily within a specialized gynecology practice that does not support OB. Utilize Athena EMR in six dedicated exam rooms while joining an established team of one physician and two other advanced practice providers. This employed position offers full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. hours within Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- DEA registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Master's degree of Nursing
