Job Summary
Provide specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and trauma on the Surgical I– Post-op/Stepdown unit. Manage care for patients with external fixators and multi-system injuries, applying post-operative nursing expertise distinct from general Medical-Surgical care. Requires nursing licensure in North Carolina (or Multi-State/Compact) and a degree in nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s) with part-time weekend scheduling (Saturday and Sunday).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
