Job Summary
Direct clinical operations and academic oversight for Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University School of Medicine. Manage undergraduate and graduate medical education, basic, translational, and clinical research across 34 faculty members, 12 advanced practice providers, 40 residents, and 11 fellows. Lead clinical activities in labor and delivery, emergency department, operating room, and inpatient services, overseeing approximately 3,500 annual deliveries. Direct services including maternal-fetal medicine, gynecology oncology, and award-winning NICU care while advancing departmental research through Georgetown University Medical Center and MedStar Health Research Institute. Serve as chief of the academic division and clinical operations for women's health at the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- proven record of leadership at the department level
- strong clinical and academic background
- professor level
- at least 10 years of practice experience
- completed an ACGME accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology certified
- eligible for licensure in DC, Virginia and Maryland
