Job Summary
Women's cut & sew and knitwear designer needed to join Kith Women. Responsibilities include creating illustrator sketches based on seasonal assortments, preparing complete tech packs with BOMs, supporting the design director from sketch through production, processing production comments via illustrator/PLM/email, attending bi-weekly fittings and noting production needs, updating master files, and developing market research and artwork/trim developments aligned with KITH brand identity. Must be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and work on-site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 3-5 years of apparel design experience required; knitwear construction knowledge and base layer knowledge are highly valued. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel design
- experience in womenswear is a plus
- Cut & sew knits and knitwear construction knowledge
- ability to create illustrator sketches and tech packs across product categories
- experience with BOMs and PLM platforms
- ability to participate in fittings and communicate production notes
- strong organizational and communication skills
- on-site 5 days a week
