Job Summary
Clinic Nurse (RN or LPN) and Medical Assistant provide direct patient care and clinical/administrative support within a women's clinic. Responsibilities include taking medical histories and vital signs, documenting in the electronic health/medical records, administering prescribed medications and immunizations, assisting with exams and procedures, maintaining medication inventory and supplies, ensuring patient safety and privacy, communicating with the care team for coordinated care, educating patients and families, and training new staff on clinic workflows. The role requires HIPAA compliance, strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, and flexibility to respond to urgent situations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN or RN license in Oregon without restriction.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
- Experience in outpatient, family practice, or specialty clinic setting preferred.
- High school diploma or GED – required.
