Women's Center Student Director

Director coordinates a minimum of 3 Women's Center sponsored events per semester (including the AS Annual Women's Conference in Spring) and manages the Women's Center budget and procurement. The role oversees purchases (books, office supplies), processes contracts and purchase orders, supervises staff, liaises with campus departments (e.g., Women and Gender Studies), maintains historical and statistical records, provides up-to-date information on student support services, prepares monthly and annual reports, coordinates room reservations using 25Live, supports marketing materials and social media requests, updates the Program’s webpage and office guidelines, and participates in All Staff Program meetings and trainings. Requires current SF State student status, supervisory experience, strong communication skills, budgeting and contracts experience, crisis prevention, delegation ability, knowledge of campus partners and Women Center history, and proficiency with standard office software and organization of meetings.
