Job Summary
Assists the Director with planning and execution of Women's Center events (minimum 3 per semester, including the AS Women's Conference in Spring) and provides services to students. Supports and mentors interns and volunteers, ensures semester goals are met, and contributes to monthly and annual reports. Performs tasks such as organizing rap/support groups, managing office supplies, promoting WC services through marketing and outreach, scheduling meetings, maintaining inventory, overseeing the Internship program (recruiting, tracking hours, onboarding, and recognition), and assisting with marketing materials and social media for outreach events.
Required Qualifications
- Current student at San Francisco State University taking at least 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong de-escalation skills
- Knowledge of Women’s Center resources
- Outreach skills
- Experience managing a team/coordinating volunteers
