WMS Systems Specialist

Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve real-time transactional errors, stuck orders, and inventory discrepancies within the Manhattan SCALE platform while monitoring data flows between third-party systems and ERPs. Configure warehouse hardware including RF scanners and thermal printers, and update local WMS configurations for locating rules, allocation strategies, and user permissions. Lead User Acceptance Testing for software upgrades and draft business requirement documents for workflow automations. Analyze system metrics to identify bottlenecks across inbound receiving, putaway, and shipping operations, then coach frontline operators on standard operating procedures. This onsite role supports occasional system go-lives and peak season needs within Langham Logistics' life sciences and cold-chain distribution facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of direct, hands-on experience working with warehouse management systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related technical discipline
- Comfortable splitting time between an office workstation and actively walking the concrete warehouse floor to support operations
- Willingness to support occasional system go-lives, scheduled maintenance windows, or critical peak season operational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Manhattan Associates SCALE
- Experience in 3PL distribution or regulated environments (Life Sciences, Pharma, Medical Device, Cold Chain)
- Manhattan Associates training certification
- Recognition as a WMS Super-User
- Strong grasp of distribution workflows, including wave planning, cross-docking, cycle counting, and multi-channel fulfillment
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for data validation, error tracking, and custom reporting
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for warehouse associates and operational management
