Job Summary
Withdrawal Management Technician provides direct client care in the detoxification process under the supervision of the Program Director. Responsibilities include monitoring client status and safety, taking vitals, documenting activity in the electronic health record, performing medication room duties, assisting with admissions and discharges paperwork, and conducting urinalysis/breathalyzer tests as needed. The role requires up to 20 hours of training in withdrawal management protocols and state regulations; must be able to pass a criminal background check and hold a valid California Driver License. The position supports full-time weekends and night rotation and aligns with Pathway Society’s vaccination policy and equal employment opportunity commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Medical Assistant certification
- Registered Drug & Alcohol Technician
- Emergency Medical Technician or equivalent experience
