Job Summary
Associate Veterinarian needed at a growing AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital in Oak Creek, WI. The role involves providing high-quality medical care for dogs and cats, performing surgery (including soft tissue and dentistry), and collaborating with fellow veterinarians on complex cases. The hospital features 7 exam rooms (expanding to 9), dedicated surgical, dental, and procedure suites, advanced diagnostics, a 3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, mentorship and a structured ramp-up plan, and a pro-sal compensation structure with strong earning potential. Schedule is 4 days per week (Monday–Friday) with no weekends or on-call, 40-minute appointment lengths, and a focus on client education, transparency, and building lasting client relationships. Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
- Active veterinary license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain
- Commitment to AAHA standards and high-quality client care
- Proficiency in surgical procedures including soft tissue and dentistry preferred
- Strong mentorship and team-collaboration skills
- Ability to work Monday-Friday with no weekend or on-call requirements
- Pro-sal compensation structure experience desired
- Excellent communication and client education skills
