Job Summary
Wiring control panels and switchboards by following diagram instructions, performing point-to-point wiring, crimping, cutting, and labeling wires. Execute general housekeeping duties and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE like safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Utilize common electrical hand tools with attention to detail, neat workmanship, and hand-eye coordination while navigating the shop floor. Maintain personal and area safety, follow installation processes to meet quality standards and delivery schedules, and stay alert to potential hazards. Availability to travel between MCG manufacturing facilities is required, with some overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities
- Must be able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions
- Availability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities
- Some travel will require overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR)
