Job Summary
Wiring and Cabling Technician responsible for wiring and building a new simulator according to provided schematics and instructions. Responsibilities include building cabinets, installing panels and equipment, wiring per schematics, supporting validation and system tests of assemblies, updating/correcting documentation, and performing additional wiring projects as assigned. Daily work is oriented around the build of simulators under guidance from the lead technician, with tasks assigned based on priority. Required skills include reading schematics, electrical technical skills, AutoCAD, basic circuit design, control panel wiring, panel building, familiarity with test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, frequency generator), general computer knowledge, and soldering. The role involves frequent sitting, occasional walking, light object handling, and occasional driving to other office or customer locations; environment is temperature-controlled and clean with regular attendance expected.
