Job Summary
Wiring Technician (CEB) on 1st shift performs point-to-point wiring of control enclosures, panels, and backplanes from schematics and BOMs, with routing/termination of wires, labeling, and documentation. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, ensuring quality and safety, conducting continuity checks and basic functional tests, managing materials, and supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Must read electrical schematics, use hand tools and testing equipment, and maintain accurate production records; standing for extended periods with potential overtime. Located in Anderson, SC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters)
- Strong attention to detail and quality and safety
- Basic computer skills for documentation and work instructions
