Job Summary
Plan, layout, and install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; pulls wiring through conduit and terminates wiring per layout drawing or Electrical Assembly Manual. Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; connect power cables and install grounding leads. Perform HI-POT testing as needed and repair faulty equipment. Observe equipment function to detect hazards and determine necessary adjustments or replacements. Report injuries and near misses; comply with PPE and safety/environmental rules. Requires reading and interpreting technical procedures and drawings, basic math, and computer skills (MATRIX and Layout Drawing software). Forklift license required within three months. Position is full-time on 2nd shift in York, PA with a pay range of $24.55–$28.92 per hour (+$1.50 shift premium). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently lift/carry up to 10 pounds. This role requests an associate degree or equivalent experience and emphasizes hands-on electrical installation, testing, and safety responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
