Job Summary
Operate wireline units and associated equipment at well sites, performing rig-up and rig-down of pressure control equipment safely. Assist with loading and unloading tools, conduct pre-job inspections, and support execution of wireline operations including running tools in and out of wells under supervisor direction. Communicate clearly with crew and customer representatives while completing field documentation such as job reports and incident reports. Adhere to the 15 days on / 6 days off rotation, working extended hours in varying weather and field conditions. This contract opportunity is based out of Windsor, CO, requiring a clean Class A CDL and proven experience in oilfield wireline operations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating wireline units in oilfield or related wireline operations
- Strong knowledge of rig-up and rig-down procedures for wireline and pressure control equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a field crew, with clear and timely communication
- Solid understanding of oilfield safety practices, hazard recognition, and safe work procedures
- Ability to work long shifts during the 15-day rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and handling heavy equipment and working in outdoor environments
- Clean Class A CDL with no restrictions and a safe driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Formal wireline operations training or certification
- H2S, First Aid/CPR, and other relevant oilfield safety certifications
- Experience with cased-hole or open-hole wireline logging operations
- Familiarity with downhole tools, logging systems, and surface acquisition equipment
- Previous experience working on multi-well pads and high-activity field operations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for field repairs and adjustments
- Exposure to digital reporting systems or field data capture tools
