Job Summary
Wireline Engineer role working on on-site Cased Hole Field operations in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities include safely operating heavy equipment used in wireline operations, conducting pre-job load-outs and equipment readiness, adhering to government, company, and client policies, identifying issues and reporting them, supporting on-call dispatches, maintaining and training for required qualifications, leading a wellsite team, ensuring quality of service and timely reporting, maintaining tools/equipment, and performing related duties to support safety, service quality, and organizational values. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a Class B CDL, and be able to pass pre-employment screenings and background checks; willing to travel up to 80% and legally work in the US without sponsorship; BATFE clearance required for explosive employees. Wireline experience is preferred but not required. Remote option is on-site. Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced field environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must possess a Class B CDL
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
- Must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
- Must have the ability to obtain BATFE clearance for Employee Possessor of explosives
- Wireline experience preferred but not required
- Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
- Must possess the Necessary Physical Abilities to Perform Essential Functions
- Must have a good background in troubleshooting of cased hole operations, tools, and equipment
- Must have the ability to drive and operate the equipment under various working conditions
- Must have working knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in wireline operations
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
