Job Summary
Greets and receives customers while managing sales transactions and processing receipts in the Point of Sale system. Presents and sells products to existing and prospective clients, qualifying their needs to meet agreed-upon monthly sales goals. Develops positive business relationships and expedites resolution of customer problems to maximize satisfaction. Updates inventory requests, organizes merchandise, and maintains FIFO policies while assisting with receiving and stocking. Alerts management of security issues and local competitive activities to support in-store and grassroots marketing initiatives. Requires flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a retail environment
- Previous wireless industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to use technology applicable to role
- Access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities
- Detail oriented with a priority of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple goals and tasks
- Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers
- Proven successful sales track record
- Positive attitude, creative thinker
- Ability to work multiple locations
- Open availability
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Routine use of maintenance equipment
- Lifting, pulling, pushing
- Use of arms, legs, hands, eyes, hearing for technical and general maintenance, inventory, and warehouse tasks
- Frequent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills to calculate change (money), formulas, commissions, discounts, etc.
- Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, standing and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
