Job Summary
Verizon Wireless Retail Store Manager role leading and developing a team of Verizon Wireless Retail Sales Associates across multiple states. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, scheduling, supervising sales staff, coaching for exceptional customer experience, achieving personal and team KPIs and sales volumes, ensuring adherence to Verizon and company guidelines, handling promotional rollouts and inventory procedures, and fostering a positive, goal-oriented store environment. Requires 2+ years retail leadership, ability to travel within assigned district, strong communication, and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Location-specific duties include managing a location in McKinney, TX and supporting stores across CT, LA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, TX, and VA; compensation includes base pay plus commissions and incentives with strong earning potential and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Proof of achievement in prior sales roles and leadership roles is required
- Ability to travel to various locations in assigned district
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule
- Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US
