Job Summary
Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager responsible for working with the Store Manager to develop a positive, customer- and goal-oriented environment, hire/schedule/supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates, and ensure the location meets Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation performance standards. Responsibilities include coaching a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, enforcing selling processes and product/service knowledge, meeting monthly personal and team KPIs, assisting with promotions, inventory procedures, and ensuring professional conduct. Travel across the Midwest to support multiple locations, flexible scheduling to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays, and contributing to a high-energy, growth-focused sales culture.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment
- Preferably Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business
- Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required
- Ability to lead, coach, and inspire your team members
- Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service
- Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule
