Job Summary
Operate and maintain detail-sensitive equipment in a medical device manufacturing environment. Set up and run automated equipment to produce small precision components, monitor processes via HMIs, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Identify and report discrepancies, use measuring tools to assess process stability, follow SOPs and regulatory standards (FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13495, cGMP), work in cross-functional teams, and support material inventory and quality management. On-site at Acton, MA with a focus on hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and maintaining product quality in a regulated manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing
- Experience with assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with automated machines/tools
- Knowledge of raw materials, measurement instruments, production processes, quality control, and related techniques
- Ability to read documentation and write in English
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with SOPs and regulatory standards (FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13495, cGMP)
- Proficiency with using measuring tools to assess process and product quality
- Team-oriented and able to troubleshoot in cross-functional teams
