Job Summary
Panel Builder / Wire Technician to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels in accordance with schematics and wiring diagrams. Read electrical schematics and layouts; measure, cut, strip, and terminate wires; assemble relays, switches, terminal blocks, PLCs, and circuit breakers. Route and bundle wiring per UL508A and industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely. Perform point-to-point continuity checks and basic troubleshooting; label wires and components for clarity and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification in electrical or related field
- Experience in control panel assembly or industrial wiring (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with UL508A standards and NEC requirements (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work standing for extended periods
