Wire Room Associate

Job Summary
Receive, verify, and stock various wires utilized in the electrical industry. Review orders, pull requested wire from spools, examine for accuracy, and wrap for transport. Provide loading and unloading support as needed. Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts. Follow processes and procedures as instructed by your Lead or Wire Room Supervisor. Help maintain a clean and organized working environment. Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols. Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors as well as vendor partners and employees. Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns. Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate various types of wire and material handling equipment including wire cutters, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed
- Strong reading and communication skills
- Must be able to move up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Desired Qualifications
- Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred
