Wire EDM Setup Operator

Job Summary
Set up and operate Wire EDM/Vollmer machines (FANUC/Sodick) to produce high-precision components; cut carbide and PCD; monitor machine performance, make adjustments and troubleshoot to ensure continuous production; load/unload work pieces, install/align tooling, and perform machine adjustments; develop and optimize CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications; maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards; conduct routine maintenance and report equipment issues to maintenance staff.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer in a manufacturing environment (1+ years), specifically with FANUC/Sodick
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
