WIRE EDM Operator- 3rd shift - Sign on Bonus

Job Summary
Read and interpret engineering prints; identify and correct errors prior to cutting steel. Set up and operate Wire EDM machines using a continuously moving wire to produce precise cuts and clean edges. Perform fine, detailed machining for intricate profiles and complex designs using Wire EDM technology. Create 2-axis and 4-axis programs using appropriate programming software. Fixture workpieces as required to ensure proper alignment and efficient machining. Inspect completed parts to verify all specifications and quality requirements are met. Adjust machine parameters and control settings to optimize performance and productivity. Perform routine machine maintenance in accordance with documented machine manual requirements. Maintain inventory of consumables and components, including wire, guides, filters, belts, and related supplies. Collaborate effectively with engineers, production supervisors, and other personnel to support workflow efficiency and meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED equivalent
- Technical training, vocational education, or 5+ years on the job training/apprenticeship
