Job Summary
Wire Center Manager in Richmond, VA: Oversees center functions including safety, wire/FlexSeT purchasing, vendor relations, and center P&L; collaborates with sales, ensures on-time deliveries, proper stocking, and accurate shipments; manages staffing, training, and safety; maintains fleet and equipment; supports pricing and cost balance with the Pricing Director and UL compliance; engages in project management for large orders and coordinates deliveries with local carriers; requires strong knowledge of wire/cable, warehousing, and ERP/WMS systems; emphasizes customer service and solution-based offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with electrical distribution or wire/cable experience
- 2+ years of warehouse management experience preferred
- Forklift operation experience
- Understanding of purchasing and general negotiation
- Understanding of wire and cable
- Understanding of general distribution center functions
- High School or GED - Required
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
