Job Summary
Career Navigator (WIOA) manages employer connections and develops local job seekers through planning, program services, and referrals. Responsibilities include interviewing customers to assess service needs; helping businesses recruit qualified applicants; developing individual employment plans; referring to appropriate training or job opportunities; maintaining case management and accurate case notes; providing market research insights to guide placement; ensuring program file compliance; and delivering extreme customer service in interactions with job seekers and employers. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and at least two years in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development, plus strong communication, data-entry, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required; benefits include health, life, dental and disability coverage, PTO, 401K, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Human Resources, Communications, Business or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with data entry and data review experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated customer service skills; computer literacy and ability to maintain files per program guidelines
- Knowledge of employment and recruiting practices; ability to assess employability gaps; ability to apply program policies; ability to prepare routine reports
