Job Summary
Oversee daily patient flow, triage incoming requests, and deliver expert nursing care to optimize safety and satisfaction in a Level III Trauma Center. Administer medications, delegate care per Colorado statutes, and handle high telephone volumes while collaborating with providers to achieve optimal outcomes. Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing Relationship-Based Care to advocate for patient preferences and safety. Requires one year of critical care or emergency experience, Colorado RN licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS. Full-time winter seasonal night shift with differential pay, supported housing, and a season completion bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- One-year of critical care or emergency experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) ~OR~ Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018
- Must be HIPAA compliant
- Must be available for night shift
- Must be available for winter seasonal period
- Must be available for full time employment
