Job Summary

Locate, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime on snowmaking compressors, pumps, snow guns, and control systems. Perform mechanical repairs on equipment and pipelines while executing daily checks to identify and address potential malfunctions. Maintain shop tools, work areas, and logs for all maintenance and repair work. Comply with safety regulations and protocols in extreme weather conditions during 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires formal training in air compressors or diesel engine mechanics, two to three years of relevant experience, and a valid U.S. driver's license.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training in air compressors, water pumps, diesel engine mechanics
  • Two to three years of relevant mechanics experience
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
  • In-depth knowledge of snowmaking equipment, including snow guns, pumps, compressors, and control systems
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and work irregular hours
  • Must be able to work nights/days, 12 hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor

Desired Qualifications

  • Formal training in air compressors, water pumps, diesel engine mechanics desirable
