Job Summary
Coordinate daily shop operations, including receiving merchandise, processing invoices, and managing inventory transfers. Operate the point of sale system to handle credit card payments, returns, and special orders while assisting guests with product inquiries and complaints. Maintain accurate records by entering new orders, organizing tickets by vendor, and performing stock inventories. Clean and organize the shop, restock sale areas, and create merchandise displays. Follow safety programs and company policies while providing courteous service to internal and external guests.
Required Qualifications
- Basic education (high school)
- One to three years of relevant sales experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to stand for at least 7 hours
- Must be able to push/pull at least 40 pounds
- Good, basic reading, writing and math skills
- Familiarity with the specific type of merchandise sold in the shop desirable
- Retail sales experience
- Must be guest service oriented
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with customers and other company personnel
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with soft goods or hard goods a plus, but not required
