Job Summary
Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns for clients, including drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and extension prep. Research federal and state tax regulation changes to develop tax planning skills while collaborating on projects across technology, real estate, education, cannabis, and manufacturing sectors. Communicate regularly with team professionals via meetings, chat, and email, and develop accounting software proficiency through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training. Work toward CPA certification with support from prep materials and classes. Start January 3, 2028, for a 12-week summer internship.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting
Desired Qualifications
- Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2028 – August 2029
