Job Summary

Maintain the ski and snowboard fleet by adjusting bindings and settings for guests, while managing accurate inventory levels for equipment and retail stock. Oversee all merchandising and displays in the retail shop, process cash and card transactions, and ensure a clean, professional work area. Support the ski program with radio duty and assist with general cleaning duties around the lodge. Adhere to health and safety standards while maintaining confidentiality in all interactions. This seasonal role involves an 11-hour split shift with a two-on-one-off schedule, including accommodation at no extra cost.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of technical shop experience with ski/board industry
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail store experience
  • Experience with ordering and inventory management
  • Background in luxury hospitality or remote ski lodges, preferred
  • Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and critical thinking
  • Demonstrate adaptability and effective problem-solving skills
  • Positive, collaborative working style
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strategic planning abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn other relevant software platforms
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating seasonal workloads and changing priorities

  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the company, including those in remote locations within a hub-and-spoke model
  • Intrinsically motivated by a passion for the ski/board industry and creating memorable experiences with our guests
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis
  • Required, at times, to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business
  • Occasional travel to CMH areas
  • Occasional travel to industry functions
  • Flexibility and willingness to accept new responsibilities
  • Willingness to potentially transfer others

Desired Qualifications

  • Salomon Certification considered an asset
